This platform is the result of an intense day of discussions and 'philosophization'. The need for balance. Optimism vs cynicism. The can do vs the no way.
ShitVersusSoil is all about trying to find that balance. Soil is where it all begins. It is the source of positive reinforcement, of energy, growth, substance. Shit on the other hand, is shit; basically it is that which is excreted and discarded. But in that there are all the necessary nutrients needed to feed the soil, which in turn fosters creation.
Assuming that the goal is to reach balance, without having too much of one or too little of another, we basically hope to encourage discussions on all sorts of topics. We wish for there to be hope and cynicism, positive as well as negative views and opinions because one counterbalances the other.
